Situated just off Jn24 of the M62 near Huddersfield, Ainley Top provides the Local ILR and DAB services for the area. Just accross the road from Vicars Lot and Moorside Edge this station is owned by nPower, formerly Northern Electric and Yorkshire Electricity and known by them as 'Fixby Ridge'.

These photos were taken at 8PM on an overcast evening with the odd lucky ray of sunlight. The penultimate show is the view over Huddersfield from the site, and shows Emley Moor visible just beside the pylon.
