When I visited Alexandra Palace on 22-Sep-2002 as part of the London Open House weekend I discovered not just how good Peter Bigwood's set of photos on the previous page really are, but also what a stunning place Alexandra Palace really is, with breathtaking views both outside and in. So here a a few alternative shots from me...

The tower, seen through the trees from the approach

Here in the foyer on the East side of the Palace the tower can just be made out through glass

On the West side of the building, near the Phoenix Bar, is this wonderful indoor Egyptian garden

And these outdoor views across London reveal what a superb location this is...
