The Ashford-in-the Water UHF relay site in the Derbyshire Peak District.
The site serves an area along the A6 from Ashford to Bakewell.
This was one of the coldest TX visits that I have ever done, and it didn't help that I needed to cross a sodden field of sheep excrement in order to reach it. Needless to say, the future Mrs. Moore was none too happy at the mess my shoes made of the car upon my return!
Just look at the colours in this photo - I think they're amazing. Shame this photo is horizontally polarised - it would have made stunning desktop wallpaper!
