Comments: Relay of Crystal Palace

Assendon is the most westerly relay of Crystal Palace.

It is a low power transmitter which serves the villages of Lower Assendon and Middle Assendon, which are located in a valley to the north west of Henley On Thames in south east Oxfordshire.

Transmissions are from a stack of four vertical dipoles, facing approximately east across the valley. The RX antenna is a single log periodic on Crystal Palace.
