Beddgelert ia situated in the heart of the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and almost completely surrounded by high hills.
It appears there is no site that can both receive a contribution feed while providing a signal to Beddgelert village and surrounding valleys, hence the use of a wind and solar powered link station on the hillside opposite.
Four log periodics provide transmission to the valley below while four further log periodics mounted below receive the signal from the link site on the hilltop opposite.
