There are no less than five masts at the Bluebell Hill site!

The reason for this is most likely that the site's proximity to Rochester Airport imposes a height restriction, limiting how much can be added to each mast - hence a further mast was built (the second from the right in the photo below) to carry the aerials for the digital tv services.

The two NGW towers.

(Hang on, this is starting to sound a bit like The Lord of the Rings!)

NGW tower 1 - providing analogue tv services.

Next, a few views from on high...

Left: the shroud covering the analogue tv aerials

Spring 2005, and the Arqiva 2 tower is being given a coat of paint...

Pink paint??!!

Don't panic, it's only the undercoat - so they can see where they've been!

August 2006. David Neale is in the Diary Room.

The other housemates have been given the task of refurbishing one of the Bluebell Hill towers.

First they put up a sign to remind themselves of what they were supposed to be doing, then they dressed toe tower in a daft looking skirt.

Belated thanks to Andrew Wood for this photo of the Bluebell Hill transmitter hall.

And finally, from David Neale, the actual bluebells of Bluebell Hill...
