Blunsdon is the ntl site which serves the Swindon area with Local and national AM, FM and DAB radio.

Two of the towers at this site provide broadcast services - the mat puts out AM and FM services while DAB comes from the adjacent tower.

Virgin Radio comes from the NGW site.

The sets of omnidirectional aerials at the top of the mast are for ILR station GWR (and now Classic fm too).

The aerials just below these are the BBC Wiltshire Sound aerials, different to the ILR aerials as they are more directional, limiting the signal somewhat to the north on 103.6MHz to reduce interference with adjacent channel station BBC WM from Lark Stoke on 103.7MHz. The aerial consists of two horizontal yagis, one facing roughly south west and the other facing roughly south east. There is also one single vertical dipole in the centre of the two yagis, the radiation pattern to the north from this presumably limited by a mast null, and maybe a lower power input for the vertical component.

The log periodic vertical aerials for the relay of national BBC Radio are very directional, just to the south really and at much lower power. The DAB aerials are mounted on the other tower at the site.
