Brierley Hill serves much of the area around Stourbridge, Wordsley, Brierley Hill, Lye etc and is perched on the top of Brierley Hill which is densely populated with houses.

| Stephen says:
In my location the other side of Stourbridge to the TX analogue reception from Brierley Hill is badly ghosted on some channels so I have quite a game getting reasonable pictures and the digital muxes too. As Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, and Brierley Hill are all co-aligned from my house and having tried various combinations of aerials and grouped combiners I have ended up with a single high gain wide band aerial in the loft with high gain amplifier bringing in Sutton Coldfield nice and sharply with a grainy Channel 5 from Lichfield and reasonable Analogue & Digital pictures from Brierley Hill despite the different polarisation. Most houses here have aerials pointing at the Wrekin but Ch5 is a problem as it is on Ch35 the same as Ridge Hill so you end up with two superimposed pictures sometimes. The picture of a nearby house's aerials [right] is extreme but you end up with houses next to each other with aerials pointing in four different directions. |
Chris Cockram says: These photos of Brierley Hill were taken on a canal boat holiday. |
