Comments: Bristol (Barton House) is a relay of Mendip

Possibly one of the most uninspiring sites I've visited, this relay consists
of a bunch of antennas bolted to a water tower on top of a council tower

It's a low power TV relay, serving areas in east central Bristol in
the valley around the River Avon. Unusually the transmit polarisation is
horizontal, with eight log periodics pointing south west and south east.
The receive antenna is also a log periodic, and is located next to the
transmit array pointing south towards Mendip.

The last picture is of the other side of the water tower, and shows another
single transmit antenna which appears to provide a small pool of reception
for the houses behind the block.
