Comments: Cilfrew is a relay of Kilvey Hill

The Cilfrew relay is actualy located in the southern part of the small town of Tonna in the Neath valley. It provides TV not only accross the valley to Cilfrew, but also to Tonna and areas up and down the valley when reception of Wenvoe is not possible.

Access was via a rocky track that runs out of the back of Tonna RFC car park. The site itself is difficult to photograph as it's almost completely surrounded by tall trees - look at how high they've had to put the satellite dish up the tower in order to clear them!

There are four pairs of crossed log periodics used for TX, and a single vertical log used to receive Kilvey Hill, itself a relay of Wenvoe.
