Comments: Corsham is a relay of Mendip

The station was built using both horizontal and vertical polarisation to provide coverage to the required areas.
All antennas are fed from a single set of transmitters, the power being split equally between the two polarisations.

The market town of Corsham is located in Wiltshire, about 5 miles to the east of Bath. The southern edge of the town lies in a slight dip and Mendip reception is patchy as a result.

There are two transmission arrays from this tower, a horizontally polarised array consisting of 3 crossed log periodics pointing roughly south west, and a vertical log periodic pair pointing east.

The RX antenna is a log periodic pointing at Mendip, about three quarters of the way up the tower.

The relay site is located within the grounds of Corsham School, on the edge of the football field.
