Creteway Down is now NGW's name for this site, which has also been known more simply as 'Folkestone' since the days when it provided VHF 405-line television to the area.
When this tower was first photographed for the TX Gallery it was evident that the top of the mast had had little on it since the removal of the VHF TV aerials, however, Dave Coppen's more recent photos show that more has been added since then, but the VHF radio aerials are still little more than half-way up the mast.
