The Croeserw TV and Radio relay is located just to the West of the town of the same name, South of Cymer and is on the top of Foel Fawr. At first access looked easy, but then I soon found out why no-one had visited this site before, access was via a very steep, unmade, rocky track.
Being prtty much tree-locked the target area was hidden from view at ground level.
The RBL trough is pointing roughly North-West at the parent station Preseli and is located on the Western face of the tower.
For TX purposes Croeserw has two sets of 4 panels, one set pointing North-West, the other set pointing North-East; and a pair of log-periodics pointing roughly Eastward. These logs broadcast on identical channels to the vertically polarised panels, but are horizontally polarised and with an ouput of only 6w ERP.
The FM TX antenna are clearly visible, and are located between the level of the RX trough and the TV panels at the top of the mast. The FM RX log is about 18ft up on the North-Western 'leg' of the tower, it's horizontally polarised and clearly pointing towards Kilvey Hill, itself an FM relay of Wenvoe.

A derelict building at the site.
