Comments: Relay of Caradon Hill

Croyde serves the surfing village of Croyde itself, Putsborough, Georgeham, Pickwell, and surrounding villages.

The site (and village of Croyde) is shielded from Huntshaw Cross to the south by the ridge of hillside shown in the last picture so it's not surprising that it's fed by Caradon Hill. Although not clear in the photo, the fibreglass at the very top contains antenna(s) for T-Mobile, it is not a broadcast antenna and was not there historically. As per sitefinder, the site also now carries O2 TETRA and GSM though these are very recent additions, for many years it only carried TV, Vodafone and Orange.

It also carries T-Mobile Vodafone and Orange mobile services.
