Comments: Cwm Ffrwd-Oer is a relay of Wenvoe (via Blaenavon)

Cwm Ffrwd-oer is a low power relay serving the population in a small valley to the east of Pontypool in South Wales.  Coverage includes the village of Cwm Ffrwd-Oer itself and parts of Pentre Piod. 

Transmission is from a pair of crossed vertical log periodics mounted on top of the usual 17m wooden pole, with radiation approximately north from the site.

The receive aerial is a single vertical log pointing at the Blaenavon relay, approximately 3 miles away to the north east.

Looking north east towards Cwm Ffrwd-oer village middle frame. Trevethin up on the hillside centre right.
