Comments: Relay of Torosay

Easdale is one of the UK's more remote transmitter sites, being on a small island off the coast of Argyll in Western Scotland. An effective radiated power of just 7W is sufficient to cover the intended service area, and this is one case where the receiving antenna array is probably more interesting - and substantial - than the transmitting panels.

As we understand it the transmitter takes its feeds from the South Knapdale relay of Black Hill via South Knapdale.

The photo by Peter Wright shows a view from the site.
