The Farnley Transmitter is accessed from Back Lane, which leaves the A58 at it's junction with the B6126 (Gildersome Lane).

The transmitter, mobile mast and their associated buildings can be viewed from the access gate on Back Lane and also from the roadside on Low Moor Side Lane, which is on the opposite side to the entrance gate.
