The site is just south of the Archallagan Plantation which is south and central to the Island and in a slightly elevated position.
The installation comprises two monopoles oriented roughly North South, each with its own matching housing.
The Transmitter building is fairly uninspiring and of recent construction. I understand from the locals that the site has been used since the 1960’s for this service.
Foxdale UHF is a separate site.
