Over the roofs of houses near the old York
hospital at Fulford,
this is about the most distant view of the 666kHz transmitter you can get.

On 666kHz, BBC Radio York has an outlet at Fulford,
in the southern part of York.
It is a vertical radiator with a capacitative loading at the top
(the horizontal wire slung between the masts). Here is the view from the
transmitter hut.
Note that on the nearest mast, at the top, you can see the 400MHz radio car link receiving aerial.
