| Near the Southern tip of the Mull of Kintyre near the Keil Hotel (now abandoned). There was a Decca HIFIX 6 site alongside but now removed completely. This former BBC landlord site entered service on 2-Oct-1987 to serve about 275 people in the Southend area of Kintyre. These pictures are taken in 2001 when the receive antenna was two LPAs. Also there was a bird's nest in the transmit antenna (a frequent occurrence). |
