Updated photos (with Lochbroom FM info)

These photos are from a visit in October 2012, which is post-DSO, and identify the Lochbroom FM antennas mentioned in the existing Ullapool site.

General view of both masts at the Braes of Ullapool site.

Top of mast showing Lochbroom FM antennas - a pair of Band II folded dipoles to the top right. The same antennas are used both for reception of the Band I studio-transmitter link and for the 102.2 MHz FM broadcast. There is one heliax feeder into the transmitter building, where filters are used to split the antenna between the Band I receiver and the Band II transmitter.

Close-up of the other mast, carrying various services including local DVB-T and more cell services.
