Show historic services

Updated February 2018

Farleigh was originally a BBC landlord site with a 17m lattice pole structure which entered service, early in 1993. The pole was replaced with this tower in November 2000 for the addition of site sharers.

The original analogue UHF channel grouping for this relay was unusually wide, transmitting on channels 28/57/21/54, meaning that viewers required a wideband aerial (Group W) to receive all four channels well. Post DSO, all channels were located within group C/D on 56/50/53. The current post 700 MHz band clearance channel allocation was adopted in July 2018.
