For some reason Ardgour provides horizontally polarised transmissions in one direction and vertical polarisation in the opposite direction.
I'm not sure what the advantages of this might be, but I guess there must be a reason for it, if only the relative cheapness of two standard log-periodics.
Ardgour entered service on the 3rd December 1993. Its main function seems to be to provide a feed to Ballachulish. The horizontally polarised direction.
