The site is reached by a very steep but well maintained road, with a well hidden access, which has only taken me four years to find! Originally an IBA landlord site, St. Austell entered service on the 23rd January 1976 as a relay of Caradon Hill. Site number 131.01. Channel 4 was added in July 1984. ITV was changed to relay Redruth in the 1990's. BBC 1 & 2 were changed to relay Redruth on the 4th December 2008, prior to DSO.








Redruth log periodic is centre left, Caradon Hill trough antenna is top right






Mount Stamper BT tower is visible to the East.


On a clear day, the view must be magnificent.
