Hydro Electric / SSE Glenachulish Radio Station

Glenachulish is a relay for Nevis Radio.

The folded dipole at the top is for the Hydro Electric / SSE radio system. The two folded dipoles in the middle are the Nevis Radio transmit antenna. The four element yagi is the receive aerial. This now receives from Nevis Radio's new transmission site at Fort William Aluminium Smelter, which replaced Trislaig.

Not sure about UHF crossed folded dipoles - I have seen these elsewhere and someone said they were used for telemetry to / from multiple sites.

The Hydro Electric / SSE radio system at 156 MHz.
