October 2012

To compliment the other photos in the gallery, of the Horsham relay, I took these on 30th October 2012....

The VHF/FM (Band II) Lindenblad array mounted on the Capitol Theatre, North Street, Horsham.

The VHF/FM yagi (right) 'looks' at the (102.7 FM) Reigate transmitter, used for Heart (Sussex & Surrey), with the TV aerial trained on the Midhurst mast.

These vertical yagis 'look' at BBC Sussex's Burton Down transmitter (104.8 FM). No doubt they are mounted like this (as opposed to on top of the roof) so the building offers shielding from the 104.9 FM broadcasts from Croydon and 104.6 FM from Guildford.

From the back of the Capitol Theatre (looking north-east) you can see both sets of RBR yagis.
