Station History 24-Feb-1953 Scottish Home service on 809 kHz. Temporary 500W transmitter. 13-Dec-1953 Permanent transmitter in service. Power increased to 2 kW. 23-Nov-1978 Frequency changed to 810 kHz. Spring 1983 Frequency changed to 585 kHz. 14-Feb-1995 INR 3 (Talk Radio) launched on 1053 kHz. 23-Jun-2020 Radio Scotland, 585 kHz closed. 31-May-2023 INR 3 (Talk Sport), 1053 kHz closed.
