Nothing special, just more pictures in better detail than before.

Masts are approx half lamdba antenna used for BBC Radio 5 on 909 KHz, wire antenna are used for the services on 1089 KHz and 1215 KHz.

This tower is inside the Tx building compound and at one time supported a SHF dish link antenna to Holme Moss.








Wire Antiphase antenna on each side of the mast are shown in yellow, while the red is the support wires. More details on these antenna can be found on BBC R&D website - link below.


Weights to keep the wire antenna under tension.
