June 2017

Sunny Govan Community Radio was granted an Ofcom license in 2005. Their transmitter was relocated to this rooftop in February 2013.

The rooftop of 150 Berryknowes Avenue, just north of Paisley Road West, in the Craigton area of Glasgow, is the home of the Sunny Govan Community Radio transmitter.

Round to the other side and the two rooftop aerials come into view. The UHF Yagi points towards Black Hill.

A familiar end fed vertical band II dipole is used for transmit.

This device lower on the pole may well be providing the STL. It is on the
correct (north side), of the plant room which faces towards the studio.

The studios on Govan Road about 2.3 km northeast of the Tx site looking rather closed for business.
