Sited on a hill above the seaside town of Beer, Devon, this low power transmitter is a relay of Stockland Hill, broadcasting BBC South West / Westcountry to the local area that is screened from the main transmitter by hills.

Beer entered service in August 1981, with Channel 4 from July 1987. DSO was on 6th and 20th May 2009.
