Michael Curtis visited the site initially before DSO. Mark Carver re-visited in May 2011, and recorded the changes that had been made for, and since DSO in Spring 2009.

Michael's pre DSO pictures

Single Tx log

Equipment cabins

Mark's post DSO photos taken in May 2011

Prior to DSO the Tx aerial was the single log pointing just north of west at 280°. For DSO this was changed to the two logs pointing just south of west at 260°, with a huge ERP increase from 8 to 100 Watts. Charmouth is also co-timed to operate as an SFN with Weymouth, as they became co-channel at DSO. The town of Lyme Regis is a few miles to the west. Much of the town uses Weymouth, so making Charmouth an SFN removes any co-channel interference issues (Indeed it reinforces reception)

Rx Log, directed at Stockland Hill

Wide shot, the four folded dipoles are possibly TETRA aerials.

Cabin farm, note the new green cabin, with GPS domes
