In October 2012, Tempo FM - Wetherby's Community Radio station, moved offices and transmitter site. Initially an omni site at the studio location, near the centre of Wetherby, the site is now on a farm near Collingham, to the South East of Wetherby. Hence the radiating pattern is now directional (cardioid) towards Wetherby, and programme audio is linked to the site. Coverage in areas beyond Wetherby (Spofforth and Harrogate) has been greatly improved.
