Show historic services

July 2017

This is Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk, a large water company site. It wasn't possible to get any views of the base of the tower. Ofcom give a service date of 29th November 2016 for Norfolk DAB and the 5th January 2017 for BBC and Digital One DAB. The BBC and Digital One transmitters are both 20W ERP ACI fillers, with Norfolk transmitted at 500 W ERP.

Two tiers of band III dipoles in front of a screen for DAB transmit. Ofcom quote the aerial height as 58m.

Norfolk DAB is fed via an SHF link from Stoke Holy Cross. The face of the tower with the sun on it faces roughly in that direction. So which of the three SHF antennas on that face is providing that link?

Stoke Holy Cross
