December 2021

The UK's first small scale DAB multiplex serving Tynemouth and South Shields is operated by Mux One. Test transmissions began on block 9B on Monday 6th December 2021 and the multiplex became fully operational on Friday 10th December 2021 with 13 stations on board, all broadcasting in DAB+ at 32kbps. More stations are due to launch soon.
