Show historic services

April 2005

The Stockport relay serves the small area in the Mersey valley around Craig Road, half to one mile to the west of Stockport town centre. It shares a mobile phone mast, to the rear of Heaton Mersey Park overlooking the Mersey valley, and beams eastwards with two log-periodics. Transmissions are horizontally polarised. The receive antenna has a clear view of Winter Hill.

Stockport was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 10-Jul-1987 to serve 1170 people.
