New Local TV Antenna - August 2014

Images taken on 29 August 2014, showing the newly installed antenna for the new local TV service Sheffield Live TV, launching September 2014. This was installed in late July/early August 2014

Yorkshire Water sign above Arqiva's, with the underground reservoir behind

Arqiva sign simply stuck on the old Crown Castle sign at the site entrance, notice the rather poor attempt to cross out the old web address

This safety notice presumably relates to the recent installation work?

Eastern elevation from the site entrance. As expected the interim DTT and Channel 5 analogue antennas have been removed - the local tv antenna has been installed in the space vacated

The new local TV antenna aligned to the south east and can be seen the below the Sheffield Live FM antenna at the top. Notice the mesh panels on the eastern and southern faces of the tower

Southern elevation, viewed from Hallgate Road

No change to the Band II/Band III FM/DAB array
