HEBDEN BRIDGE

Photos by John Butler and Lee Goulding Page last updated: 2023-04-25

Hebden Bridge was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service with ITV on 9-Feb-1973. BBC 1 & 2 were added in June 1973 with Channel 4 from February 1985. DSO was on the 7th and 21st September 2011.

BBC national FM radio entered service on 2-Feb-1990, with Radio 1 from 1-Mar-1994.

Lee Goulding has contributed 5 pictures of Hebden Bridge "including one with some nice horses and 2 which show the upper part of the mast. Not being an expert on these things, I have managed to identify the troughs pointing in the direction of Emley Moor and the yagis for FM which appear to point at Holme Moss."
