KINLOCHLEVEN

Photos by Martin Briscoe Page last updated: 2013-12-23

Kinlochleven

Original VHF site probably in 1970s
The Band II received Ballachulish and retransmitted using a EP7/2 VRFM which was a solid state oscillator but the rest valves. I think it might have been line fed earlier.
Band I was a EP7/501 valve transposer.
It is sited alongside one of Caulfeild's Military Roads and just above Mamore Lodge.

Kinlochleven with Band II antenna at top and Band I antenna lower down. Probably taken in the 1970s
Old slides which are quite dirty etc
