BARGOED
Photos by Martin Brown | Page last updated: 2024-10-31 |
Since the earlier pictures were taken, ILR service, Real Radio was added to Bargoed on 107.3 MHz, entering service on 1st September 2010. This is now Heart FM (South Wales). |
The circularly polarised, band II transmit aerial for the ILR service on 107.3 MHz at the very top. This looks like a Shivley Labs 6812. |
The UHF Tx panels. Note the top panel looks to be tilted upwards slightly. This is sometimes done to provide some null filling to the vertical radiation pattern. |
Band II receive aerial pointing towards St. Hilary for the ILR service and twin UHF receive troughs pointing towards Wenvoe. Note the 17° difference in pointing angles. |
