Comments: Gilfach is a relay of Wenvoe

The Gilfach relay is located on the side of Mynnydd y Gifach (Gilfach Mountain). It serves the small town of Gilfach Goch in Mid Glamorgan, South Wales. Access was easy, there's a good(ish!) road all the way up to the gates of the TX, which has two pairs, each with two tiers of TX panels. They point roughly southwest and northwest. A trough antenna is used for receiving Wenvoe, which can be seen in the distance.

Gilfach entered service on the 27th September 1974 with S4C from 1st November 1982.

No mistaking who the original site landlord was.

Wenvoe about 13 miles away.
