DAB added - October 2015

West Wiltshire DAB entered service at Westwood on 23rd October 2015, serving the Trowbridge area.

Two tiers band III dipoles have been added on a cantilever at the top of the tower.

The receive aerials. On the left are two vertically polarised band II log periodics pointing towards Oxford for Radio 1. These were added when Radio 1 national opt outs commenced. On the right are the Wenvoe band II receive aerials, for Radios 2 - 4. Lower on the right is the UHF receive aerial on Mendip.

The familiar GPS cones indicate that the DAB transmitter is located in this existing cabin.
