WEST RUNTON

New receive aerial - February 2020

The upper UHF receive trough aerial has been replaced at West Runton. This was necessary for 700 MHz band clearance as the three PSB multiplexes at the parent main station at Tacolneston moved from upper band V to lower band V in June 2018.

This is a rather difficult site to photograph, being surrounded by trees, which seem to have grown since I visited in 2014. They tend to do this. Thankfully being February, they're not in leaf. At least you can park close by.

The new panel receive aerial is above the two large SHF antennas. The original lower trough receive aerial is still in situ.

No change to the twin band III DAB dipoles.
