An interesting set of aerials on this mast.
Hunmanby was originally a BBC landlord site which entered service on 31-Mar-1978 to serve about 1200 people. It was listed as an Emley Moor relay with site number 104.51, although the RBL source was actually Oliver's Mount, itself an Emley Moor relay, at that time. Around 1984/85 Hunmanby was re-attributed to Belmont and given a new site number of 120.03. Channel 4 was added on 19-Dec-1986. Prior to digital switchover, the RBL source was reverted back to Oliver's Mount in November 2010.
DSO was on 3rd and 17th August 2011. |
