Sussex DAB added. Feb 2016

Martin revisited Midhurst to photograph the aerials that have been added for the Sussex DAB multiplex. Service date 25th January 2016.

He also observed that changes have been made at the top of the mast, with the removal of the lower two tiers of panels from the main aerial and the removal of the pre DSO, mux C & D, DTT panels from the south west side.

Two tiers of band III dipoles on the south side of the mast form the Sussex DAB aerial system.

The main UHF transmit aerial. Now with only 6 tiers of panels. Was 8. Also note that the ladders have also gone, compared with the 2014 pictures.

The S2 UHF reserve and Digital One aerials. No change here.

Left - BBC DAB dipoles.
Middle - 2 x UHF receive troughs pointing at Rowridge.
Right - All elements now complete on the Spirit FM, 4 element yagi.

New looking GPS aerials.
