Originally a BBC landlord site, 405-line, VHF channel 5, BBC 1 and BBC FM radio entered service on 18th December 1967. 405-line BBC 1 closed in July 1984.

UHF TV channels 1 - 3 entered service on 21st October 1977, with S4C available from the launch on 1st November 1982. DSO was on 19th August and 16th September 2009.

FM radio was re-engineered for mixed polarisation in September 1993, with Radio's 1 & 4 added on 28th September 1993.
