Comments: Bronnant is a relay of Presely (via Tregaron). Pre B700 allocations: 23/29/26.

Here's a nice one to get to! - it's a public byway - so no problems there - but it runs through a farmers cowshed! Interesting site this. There's clearly the remains of an earlier wooden pole installation - with both the pole and equipment 'shed' still standing with cabling still hanging out of the wall! The current installation is much more business-like.

[Ed] This site was originally a self help, built to correct a deficiency caused by a windfarm. It was necessary to change the channels and adopt precision offset operation as a consequence of interim DTT from Blaenplwyf, which commenced in 1998. This in turn required Bronnant to be adopted by the broadcasters.

There is also evidence of either a previous, larger, 3 leg triangular tower, or maybe one to come in the future - either that or someone made a bit of a cock-up when the concrete base was being laid!
