Bushmills was originally a BBC landlord site which entered service in October 1981 to serve 1,850 people. Channel 4 was added on 16-Aug-1985. The original structure was a 17m wooden pole, but this has been upgraded to a tower, with the Tx aerials remaining at the original height of the pole.
