Comments: Llangynog was originally a relay of Blaenplwyf (via Llangurig Link, Long Mountain and Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant). The ultimate parent is now Long Mountain (line fed) via Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. Pre B700 allocations: 50/55/59.

Llangynog is a very small village up the highest reaches of the Afon Tanat valley before the B4391 high pass over the Berwyn Mountains. The relay has 4 directional yagi pointing to Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant and a small 4-stack cardioid for transmission.

LLangynog was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on the 1st November 1984.
