New UHF Tx & Rx aerials - July 2023

The UHF transmit and receive aerials were replaced at Newhaven in March 2018 ahead of 700 MHz band clearance, which was implemented here on 19-Jul-2018.

The new UHF transmit cylinder, together with damper at the top. On the left are the band III DAB transmit aerials.

The two UHF trough receive aerials have been replaced with this single panel aerial.

It is just possible to see the Sira logo embossed on the front of the panel.

This band II Yagi looks to be pointed towards Brighton (Whitehawk Hill) and probably receives the ILR programme feed.

No change to the CSA slant slot band II transmit panels.
