Comments: Gelli-fendigaid is a relay of Wenvoe

Unusually a horizontally polarised relay, filling in the gap between coverage from Abercynon and Pontypridd.

Originally on a wooden pole, which is still standing next to its replacement mobile phone apparatus laden square lattice tower.

Coverage is from a set of crossed log periodics pointing nominally west and south west, aimed at the village of Ynysbwl, which is located up a side valley and out of sight of other local relays.

Looking south east. The same non-broadcast towers atop Mynydd Eglwysilan as can be seen from Bedlinog
are visible centre screen. The Pontypridd relay located on the hillside edge on the far right

The settlement in the foreground is Glyncoch
